CAUSES OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
Solomon islands is a country with very high unemployment rate.This is due to the rapid population growth in the country each year.As a result, it causes high unemployment rate in the country.In addition to this, there is low job opportunity for people to engage in doing them. the limited job opprtunities available are only capable for only high qualified graduates while those with low qualifications cannot able to find jobs.Furthermore, there is low level of education within the country. Solomon islands haven't enough educational institutions for young students to go further in their education in order to get a paid employment.Finally, most students become unemployed due to the social crisis between the two ethnic groups being Malaita and Guadalcanal provinces back in the periods of 1999 to 2003. It causes most young ones not attending schools and the drawback of educational interests becomes high during those days.Therefore, Unemployment becomes a problem in the country.
DISADVANTAGES OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN SOLOMON.
Solomon islands people are currently facing problem regarding low employment within the country.It results to many younger ones to being involve in criminal activities in a city and around the Solomon islands.These includes stealing, causing conflicts between diverse ethnic groups of people as experienced in 1999 to 2003.People in the rural societies are suffered financially in terms of school fees and other financial matters.Some societies ended up living in a very low standard of living as compared to those high educated ones and those who have paid jobs.It also causes hunger to some societies since there is no other financial sources to buy foods, water and other basic human needs.As a result, unemployment in Solomon islands is one that causes effects to those who are unemployed and have no other means of financial supports.
